Help the poor

Street Patrol

Every third Saturday of the month

Join us in our monthly Street Patrol initiative, where parishioners prepare and distribute food to the homeless in downtown Toronto. This program, started in 1995 and headquartered at St. Patrick's Parish, aims to serve those in need within our community.

At St. Joseph the Worker Parish, we support this cause by organizing our own Street Patrol. Each month, we gather at 9 am in the parish hall to prepare bagged lunches. We then travel downtown to distribute the food, returning to the parish by 3:30 PM.

If you can't participate in person, you can still help by donating supplies such as bread, deli meats, cheese, granola bars, juice boxes, and water bottles. Every donation counts!

For more information, please contact the parish office. We look forward to your support and participation in this meaningful service.
