Drawing on Jewish tradition as well as contemporary understandings of spirituality and pastoral care, this session explores themes of fear and trauma in the stories of Hagar and Ishmael, the binding of Isaac, and the Psalms. It will provide Christians with a Jewish interpretative lens into our shared biblical scripture.
